                                                                                                                                    Love for Quincyridge!

 

Last December, we brought home our little girl Annie from Quincyridge Goldens. This came after a long and thoughtful search for the right breeders, which included checking with the AKC registry, following up on referrals, in person communication, and in person visits. We knew right from our first conversation with Wendy and Dawn that we found the right place.  Quincyridge operates out of a love for Golden Retrievers. When we first arrived to meet the puppies, we were greeted by a host of Goldens, and their personalities were on display – they were calm, gentle, and loving. And it’s no surprise that Annie is just the same - playful, calm, healthy,  and easy going. 

 

Throughout the entire process, Wendy and Dawn kept the families informed with sonograms, birth dates, health updates, photos, videos, and all pertinent puppy information.  They also took time to get to know us so that they could effectively help choose the puppy who would best suit our family. They were thoughtful and communicative in their recommendation, and we ended up with the perfect pup for our large family with kids. 

 

These breeders love their dogs and are incredibly knowledgeable about the breed.  They are looking for families who will take these puppies in as part of their family. 

One of the most important aspects of going with Quincyridge was that we were welcomed and encouraged to come visit in person.  This is so important when choosing a breeder.  We saw where the mamas lived, how they are cared for, the unbelievable care and love that goes into each litter.  Conversely, they were able to get to know us, and to help choose the puppy who would best fit our family. 

 

We feel so fortunate to have found Wendy and Dawn at Quincyridge.  The information and expertise that they provide is with the best health of the dog in mind. They were quick to respond with any questions that we had, especially in those first few weeks after bringing her home. Furthermore, they reached out regularly to track Annie’s health and her adjustment. Our vet now recommends this breeder to potential Golden owners.
